History
35 Years of Microtechnology for Environmental Monitoring
Founded in 1990 at the CSEM in Neuchâtel, Microsens was among the first companies to explore ion-sensitive field-effect transistors (ISFETs) and solid-state chemical sensing.
Over the decades, we've designed and delivered high-performance sensors for liquids and gases, working with partners ranging from Motorola to academic laboratories.
Today, we focus on selective ion membranes, solid-state HOCl and pH sensors, and integrated solutions for demanding environments—agriculture, aquaculture, research, and beyond.
Our approach bridges the gap between lab-grade technology and field-ready reliability.
